In 1980 Ted Capra started Capra's Marine Electronics, a company that sold and repaired depth finders and trolling motors. In 1987 Ted Capra opened the doors to Capra's Sporting Goods. With the help of his wife Nancy and their two sons, Dean and Tony, Capra's Sporting Goods has become the midwest's most unique complete full service sporting goods store. If it is new, if it's hot, Capra's will have it! In 1990, the Capra's started their own television series Capra's Outdoor Frontiers. A weekly series that airs across the nation on dish network and on cable stations in the upper midwest. From destinations around the globe, Ted, Tony and Dean take you on adventures to the most exciting fishing and hunting expeditions ever seen.
